What to Bring

What to Bring
  • Comfy clothes - if you like, spend the entire weekend in your pjs!  And maybe a sweatshirt, in case it gets chilly!
    • Be you, be comfortable, and leave that stress of what to wear at the door.
  • A water bottle or covered travel mug, so we can use the filtered water from the fridge rather than buying bottled water and filling our landfills with plastic.
  • Basic toiletries (shower essentials, etc.).
    • We will have a few of these in case you forget something!
  • Photos, scrapbooks, or videos of your child(ren) - if you have them and are comfortable sharing. This will be one of the few places you can “brag” about how adorable they are!
  • A cell phone for personal calls, as house phones are for local calls only.
  • An open-mind and open heart. We are here to love and support one another, no matter how different we may be. In fact, our differences are what make us so great! So, be yourself and know you will be loved unconditionally.
Thank you for recognizing the importance of post-placement support:
