WHAT IT IS
COVID-19 restrictions have severely limited local businesses’ ability to generate revenue. On Your Feet, a non-profit that supports birthmothers, recently canceled its annual fundraiser, which provides much needed operating support. On Your Feet is asking individuals to buy gift cards from local businesses and donate them to On Your Feet for an online auction. Your participation will support our local businesses and On Your Feet during this challenging time. Here’s how you can help:
HOW IT WORKS
1. You buy a gift card to a favorite local business (Think about the local restaurants, bars, coffee shops, spas, retail shops, theaters, fitness studios, art studios, etc. that have either been required to close or are seeing a drop in business due to social distancing.)
2. You donate the gift card to On Your Feet, which you can write-off on your taxes because we have 501(c)(3) status.
3. Send us the gift card by email (preferred!) to: allison@onyourfeetmidwest.org; or by mail to: 1555 sherman avenue, #173, evanston, Illinois 60201
4. The auction is live until 8PM CST on Thursday, April 16th; visit 32Auctions.com to place your bids.
5. On Your Feet partners with the small businesses to promote the auction and their business (and thank you publicly if you let us!)
